Giana Wang is an associate attorney at Passalacqua and Associates LLC, where she focuses her practice on criminal defense and litigation. She is committed to client centered advocacy and approaches every case with preparation, clarity, and a strong dedication to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.
Giana earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School. During law school, she served as an Associate Editor of the Cornell International Law Journal, competed in the Langfan Moot Court Competition, and participated in both mock trial and appellate advocacy teams. These experiences strengthened her passion for litigation and shaped her confident, thoughtful approach in the courtroom.
In addition to her advocacy work, Giana represented clients as a student attorney in Cornell’s Estate Planning Clinic, Tenant Advocacy Clinic, and Securities Law Clinic. She also taught legal writing and family law courses through the Cornell Prison Education Program, where she worked directly with incarcerated students and saw firsthand the importance of access to meaningful legal education.
Before law school, Giana earned her B.A. in Psychology from UCLA. Her background in psychology supports her client relationships and her ability to communicate with empathy and precision during negotiation and trial.
Outside of the office, Giana enjoys cooking new recipes, hosting board game nights with friends, and exploring upstate New York with her husband, Steve.
