Nabila Uddin is a New York litigator who understands that behind every case is a person whose life has been disrupted, whether by a serious injury or by unfair treatment at work. She represents injured clients in personal injury matters and advocates for workers’ rights in employment-law cases. She brings strategic preparation, candid counsel, and attentive client service to every matter she handles.
Nabila’s path to the law began in architecture. Before becoming a litigator, she earned a B.S. in Architecture with a minor in Construction Management from the New York Institute of Technology. That background shapes her structured, detail-driven approach to legal problem-solving. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from CUNY School of Law. As a woman and a Muslim woman who has worked in both fields, she brings a perspective shaped by those experiences.
Nabila is admitted to practice in New York State and in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. In her personal injury work, she handles motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and bodily injury claims. In her employment work, she represents workers facing discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, wage claims, and hostile work environments.
Her commitment to justice runs deep. As a Student Attorney with Creating Law Enforcement Accountability & Responsibility (CLEAR), she provided pro bono representation to people affected by post-9/11 national security policies, including clients on the No-Fly List and former Guantanamo Bay detainees. She has also represented tenants in housing court. Outside the courtroom, Nabila supports the Muslim community in New York City through mentorship, connection, and empowerment. She knows firsthand the barriers that young Muslims, and young Muslim women in particular, can face when they pursue leadership roles, and she works to give the next generation the guidance and role models they need. She believes representation matters in every space.
